         I think all the readers out there will agree to the fact that-'Movies don't justify books'. It is same with the 'Half Girlfriend' novel by authour- Chetan Bhagat. It is the first and only novel based on romance that I have read as a teen.

          The book revolves around a rich girl with family issues and a Bhojpuri boy with not so much 'rich ' background. Inspite of this cheesy bollywood drama, you will emotionally get attached to the characters. As a matter of fact take tissues with you while reading it.

             One of the most amazing thing in this book were dialogues, which are the essence of any book. Other was Shailesh- Madhav's friend(main character) and his overprotectiveness towards Madhav. Well you can say he was clearly a 'Sakht Launda' and probably the most matured guy, who knew career's a better goal than chasing girls!! But clearly our Madhav couldn't help himself but fall in love with his dream girl 'Riya'. His dedication towards her was similar to my dedication towards food!

               I actually hated when Riya told him that- "Main tumhari girlfriend nahi hoon..................par I can be your half-girlfriend". Although Riya had her family issues because of which she refused him, but 'Half-Girlfriend'? It's like downloading your favourite movie and end up getting error--         'Download Unsuccessful' just wasting your time and data!!

            Chetan Bhagat as always will play with your emotions in the whole book but eventualy you will end up loving it!!
